I started as an accountant assisting clients with setting up their companies and managing day-to-day accounting and tax matters under the supervision of my employers. When I established my own accounting firm and became a company director, registered tax agent, and ASIC registered agent, the responsibility rested entirely with me — not just for performing the work, but for overseeing company operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
